ARTillery Brisbane- ARTivist Assistant

ARTillery Brisbane is on the hunt for a new member to join their creative team. As an ARTillery volunteer your main role will be to support our ARTivist in their creative endeavours and assist in bringing the ideas of the team to life. ARTillery is an initiative of Amnesty International Australia, run by young volunteer activists. While pushing the boundaries of Brisbane’s arts scene, ARTillery aims to inspire, educate and inform Australia about human rights. Brisbane Powerhouse- Producer (Performing Arts) Part-Time

The purpose of this position is to successfully manage and deliver a range of arts events for Brisbane Powerhouse. This position reports to the Artistic Director and Program Manager. This position is a part-time role of 3 days per week.

Cairns Indigenous Art Fair - Expression of Interest

Following the success of the inaugural Ufla Upla (You fella You people): National Indigenous Textiles Forum in 2013, we are currently programing a second forum to be held during the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) 24-27 July 2014.

A key outcome from last year’s forum was a desire for more art development opportunities for Indigenous artists in North Queensland. While the focus will be on textile design and production, there will also be an emphasis on building drawing, painting, printmaking and digital media skills.

St Sebastians Art Show

The St Sebastian’s Yeronga are seeking Expressions of Interest to exhibit for this years Spring Art Exhibition.

Entry is by invitation only.  Each artist may exhibit within a space allowance of 2.4m W x 2.4m L.  All works submitted must be for sale.

The standard and reputation of this show is of quality works in the price range of $100 - $2000 and a complimentary mix of globally established artist and talented local and emerging artists.  It is an event that has been running for 35 years and is now well recognized in the wider Brisbane and local community as a pivotal social and cultural evening.

In the first instance we would like your Expression of Interest by 30 April 2014.  This can be an email to indicating your intention to participate and either images of your work or a web address so we can view your work.
