In accordance with Queensland Government regulations, Flying Arts has implemented a COVID-19 Safe Event Plan to ensure compliance with social distancing and contact tracing protocols.
We are committed to working closely with our Flying Arts Facilitators, our colleagues in other delivery organisations and venues, and with our event attendees to adhere to the directions of Queensland Health, the Australian Government Department of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO), and other relevant authorities. We appreciate your compliance with these guidelines to keep our community safe.
Please note the information in this plan is subject to change depending on Federal and State government COVID-19 guidelines for events.
Who does this apply to?
All programming staff of Flying Arts Alliance Inc., the facilitators, the organisers, artists, exhibition staff, volunteers, and venues hosting workshops, events, and exhibitions are required to follow Public Health directives as outlined in this plan until further notice.
This plan only applies to events under 500 people (including staff and other people on site) that are being held in Queensland. It provides guidelines and compliances for running face-to-face events on the Flying Arts program. Click on your role to see further event guidelines.

COVID-19 Safe Travel Information
Please check the airline/accommodation/car hire company agreement and website for the latest COVID-19 safety update before you travel to a Flying Arts event. Travel providers are responsible for the safety of passengers and guests who travel with them.
Flying Arts will make travel arrangements based on the most recent travel advice and COVID-19 guidelines from the Queensland government. You will not be required to travel to an event if this puts you at risk of infection.
