Take the opportunity to discuss your career or practice one-on-one with respected arts industry professional, Jan Manton. Director of Jan Manton Art in Spring Hill, Jan has been a long-time supporter of the visual arts in Queensland and sits on the committee of both Art from the Margins and The Queensland Children’s Hospital Arts Program.

Use these one-hour sessions to discuss matters most relevant to you. Topics of discussion may include:

– Mapping your career goals, strategies and direction
– Discussing project or exhibition ideas
– Gaining feedback on your portfolio

Participants can attend either in-person or via Skype.

Participants to Bring:

– Questions, CVs or resumes, resources, artwork, portfolios or other items to discuss during your consultation.

A computer and internet access will be provided should you wish to use any online resources during your consultation.

Jan Manton: Director of Jan Manton Art in Spring Hill, Jan has been a long-time supporter of the visual arts in Queensland. She sits on the committee of both Art from the Margins and The Queensland Children’s Hospital Arts Program. 

 

Jan is past President of Flying Arts. She is a previous member of the QUT Art Collection Committee, Steering Committee for the Harries Digital Art Award and Caboolture Shire Council Art Collection Committee, and was Chair of the fundraising campaign for the QUT Art Museum in 2004 and has supported young artists in the past through the Byran-Manton Art Prize for QUT Visual Art Graduates.
