Hear tips from an industry insider – the best way to get your work noticed by curators and collection managers, what works are most likely to be collected by institutions, and what makes an institution say no to artworks.

Carrie McCarthy is the Curatorial and Collections Officer at Griffith University Art Museum. She is also an experienced Freelance Writer. With a history of working in the museums and galleries sector, she is skilled in Public Programming and Community Engagement, Curatorship, Collection Management, Marketing and Media Management, Curatorial Research, Events Management, Arts Administration, Philanthropic Strategy and Grant Writing. Carrie is a strong arts and design professional with a Master of Museum Studies focused in Museology/Museum Studies from University of Queensland.
