Ian Potter Cultural Trust – Grant for Individuals (Applications close 12 September 2017)
The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $7,000 to assist emerging and early career artists of exceptional talent to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas.
NAVA- Visual Arts Fellowship (Applications close 23 September 2017)
Two $20,000 fellowships are open to individual mid-career artists and groups. Groups must have a demonstrated history of ongoing collaborative practice between applicants.
National Association for the Visual Arts – Visual Arts Fellowship (Applications close 23 September 2017)
Grants are allocated to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.
Creative Partnerships Australia – MATCH Lab (Applications close 2 October)
MATCH Lab is Creative Partnerships Australia’s matched funding program for independent artists and groups. It’s for artists looking to build their fundraising and arts business skills and run a fundraising campaign.
Australian Council For the Arts – Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups (Applications close 3 October)
The Arts Projects program funds a range of activities that deliver benefits to the arts sector and wider public, including national and international audiences. Grants are available from $10,000 to $50,000. Supported activities must last no longer than three years from the proposed start date.
Festivals Australia – Project Funding (Applications close 20 October)
Festivals Australia funds high-quality arts and cultural heritage projects that invite community participation and audience engagement. Projects can include but are not limited to a parade, performance, workshop, installation or exhibition. Applications open the 18th September and all funding is for projects commencing after 1 February 2018.
Arts Queensland- Queensland Arts Showcase Program (Applications accepted any time)
The Queensland Arts Showcase Program (QASP) provides funding to support individuals, organisations or collectives to deliver vibrant and accessible arts and cultural experiences for Queensland.
ACF – Australian Cultural Fund (Applications accepted any time)
Register or Donate with ACF (Australian Cultural Fund) ACF supports all art forms including visual and performing arts.
Ministry for the Arts – Catalyst – Australian Arts and Culture Fund (Applications accepted any time, assessed quarterly)
Catalyst will assist organisations to forge new creative and financial partnerships and stimulate innovative ways to build participation by Australians in our cultural life. It will enable access to high quality arts experiences in regional communities and international activities that achieve cultural diplomacy objectives.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs – Saluting Their Service Commemorations Grant (Applications accepted any time)
To support projects and activities which directly commemorate Australia’s servicemen and women who served in wars, conflicts and peace operations.
Arts Queensland – Arts Business Innovation Fund (ABIF) (Applications accepted any time)
The purpose of Arts Business Innovation Fund (ABIF) is to support innovation to strengthen income generating and entrepreneurial capacity in not-for-profit arts and cultural businesses.
Arts Queensland – The Playing Queensland Fund (Applications accepted any time)
The Playing Queensland Fund supports the delivery of performing and visual arts projects that are ready to tour and have demonstrated community interest and confirmed demand. A component of the Fund delivers outcomes under the Queensland Government’s Backing Indigenous Arts Initiative (BIA).
