Engage your students with iPad painting, using handheld devices as virtual canvases to explore a fast-developing area of contemporary art practice.

Learn the basics of iPad-based art programs, and discuss contemporary artists using iPad technology, before being guided through your own artworks from concept to exhibition proposal.

For teaching age groups from years 6 – 12

About the Facilitator

Liam Herne is an interdisciplinary artist from Watford, UK , working predominantly in the field of photography and video.  His current practice explores New Media and the impact of the internet on our culture and interpersonal relationships. Now based in Brisbane, Liam currently works as an Arts Educator and professional artist, creating his photographic works by combining kitsch imagery with abstract expressionism.
