Experience 6: Creative Communities
|
Experience 6: Creative Communities is the final chapter in our year long virtual
experience as part of Flying Arts' 50th anniversary year
celebrations.
With
our past, present and future in mind, Paint the Town is
one of our key 50th Anniversary projects. Throughout the year, we have
reflected on the impact of Flying Arts across Schools, with Young
Artists, Educators and finally Creative Communities.
Throughout
this final installment, we focus on The Rockhampton Museum of Art which
was successful in receiving several Regional Arts Fund Project Grants.
Through the success of the project grants, several new opportunities
have been made possible for artists in Regional Queensland. This has
included an Artist in Residence opportunity in The Rockhampton Museum
of Art's new Collection Study Room.
