POST IT! 2026

Calling all Flying Arts members: submit your artwork for POST IT!, an end-of-year exhibition celebrating Queensland artists.

Our Brisbane gallery will showcase a selection of 55 artworks by members from across the state to mark 55 years of Flying Arts.

POST IT! responds to our members desire to buy and sell more art. Remoteness, freight costs and limited display space can make it difficult to discover new artists and connect with buyers. By presenting small works online and in our Brisbane gallery, we are creating an accessible opportunity to buy and sell art across Queensland.

Exhibitions and Programs Manager Alex Grady will curate 55 artworks for presentation in the gallery and sale online, with delivery arranged before the new year.

Submissions are open to works in any medium, provided each artwork can be safely packed to fit within either a medium Australia Post prepaid satchel or box measuring no more than 24 19 12 cm, or an A4 envelope. Multiple entries are welcome.

Submissions close: 3:00 pm, Monday 26 October. Successful entrants will be notified Friday 30 October.

Artwork delivery: Successful artworks must be received by Flying Arts by Monday 16 November.

Exhibition dates: 19 November 10 December.
