Which insurances are provided?
Public liability, personal accident and professional indemnity.
This will help protect your legal liability to third parties, including clients, customers and the public for injury or damage to their property, caused by you.

Do you only cover Queenslanders?
No. The insurance package provides coverage for individuals across Australia.
Pricing
Length of coverage
The package is offered on a pro rata annual basis from 1 October to 1 October each year.
The cost of the insurance package is reduced according to when your coverage starts.

How To Apply
Applying for coverage
The following documentation is required for your application.
You will need to supply all of this when you fill out our online application form, so you may find it helpful to first gather everything you need.
This must outline:
- The products you produce and/or media you work in
- Themes/creative vision driving your practice
- Markets you produce for (commissions, exhibitions, retail etc.)
- Relevant activities you are undertaking (teaching in your area of practice, etc.) and the frequency of these activities
- What environment you work in (a studio, from home, etc.)
- Any specific, proposed projects you are involved in

The CV should provide an up-to-date overview of your practice and include information such as professional development (education and training), exhibitions, and commissions.

- Supply a minimum of five small JPEG images
- With each image, include the title of the artwork, medium and date produced
Supply a maximum of three relevant catalogues, articles, reviews or promotional material that demonstrates your professional experience. Screenshots of your website content are acceptable, but website addresses are not considered documentation.
Prepare all of the above documents and apply online via our form.
Applications will be assessed by Flying Arts. We will reach out to you if there are any issues.
Once approved, you will receive a payment link (please also select your start date).
Once paid, you will receive your insurance documentation. If you have selected a future start date, your cover and documentation will start from the selected date.
