Take the opportunity to discuss your career or practice one-on-one with Jonathan McBurnie, respected arts industry professional and Creative Director of Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and Pinnacles Gallery, Townsville. He is also former judge and lead curator of the 2019 Queensland Regional Art Awards.
Use these one-hour sessions to discuss matters most relevant to you. Topics of discussion may include:

Jonathan McBurnie is the Creative Director of Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and Pinnacles Gallery, Townsville, where he is committed to promoting legacy artists of the North Queensland region, as well as fostering the next generation of regional visual artists.
McBurnie is also an artist and arts writer, having written for publications as diverse as Sneaky, Eyeline and Penthouse Australia, with fifteen solo exhibitions and over 200 group exhibitions to his name. He is also the co-curator of Legacy: Reflections on Mabo, an Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts exhibition that is touring fourteen venues nationally until 2021.
He is currently working on his next solo exhibition for Broken Hill Regional Gallery, a graphic novel and curating Biograph, the first survey exhibition of artist Julie Fragar.
