In this webinar Flying Arts’ Regional Arts Fund Lead, Nathaniel Andrew, will discuss the national cultural funding landscape of 2022, answering your Frequently Asked Questions about the RAF Community Project Grant and Quick Response Grant schemes.
Nathaniel will speak to the context of the fund, what RAF aims to support and strategies for navigating competitive arts funding in 2022. We encourage you to questions prior to the webinar, to be answered during the presentation.
Additional Information
About your facilitator: Nathaniel Andrews belongs to the Yorta Yorta and Wurundjeri tribes with blood ties to the Ngarrindjeri, Wadi Wadi and Wiradjuri nations of Australia, and has South Sea Islander ancestry from Lacon Island and Ambae Island. Nathaniel possesses over 20 years’ experience as a freelance musician and music teacher and has had the opportunity to teach in many tertiary and vocational educational institutions across the country.
Nathaniel works as the First Nations Engagement Lead and Regional Arts Fund Lead at Flying Arts Alliance. In his role, he supports cross-disciplinary arts activities throughout Queensland through the Regional Arts Fund. His aim is to increase the economic, social, and cultural impact of artists in regional Queensland, with a particular focus on First Nation’s creatives.
