2019 marks 50 years since Australian megafauna remains were first discovered in the World Heritage Naracoorte Fossil Caves. To celebrate this anniversary The Naracoorte Regional Art Gallery is staging the 2019 Naracoorte National Art Prize. This promotion has been commended by Sir David Attenborough.
The theme will be “Australian megafauna, fossils and caves – an artistic exploration”.
