Dr. Glen Skien (DVA, MVA) is a Brisbane based artist and arts educator whose studio practice embraces a mix of contemporary printmaking, collage and artists’ books. Having completed both his Masters and Doctor of Visual Arts he currently tutors at the Brisbane Institute of Art and presents printmaking workshops to high schools in Brisbane, regional Queensland and wider Australia. As a visual arts educator his teaching focuses on the integration of poetic based methodologies.
