Stop Motion Animation can be a very simple and powerful way of telling a story or communicating a particular message. It’s accessible to people of any age or artistic and technological ability.
Using simple materials and technology, the stop motion process produces a striking result whether it’s rough or polished. In this workshop be introduced to materials and equipment and play with various approaches to making small movies. Experiment with how to use storyboarding and telling a story in an effective way. The workshop also demonstrates how to download movies and refine them using editing and sound.

Additional Information
Sue Loveday is an experienced art practitioner and educator. Her background is in illustration and design, having run a freelance practice for over 20 years.
Sue dedicates her time to community collaborations, designing and producing work that gives people a creative voice and enables them to experience the creative process. Storytelling and visual communication are a big part of Sue’s practice and she gets a lot of satisfaction out of sharing creative ways of doing this.
