Workshops and projects are available on-demand, and can be booked on behalf of your school for teacher or student learning. The opportunities listed here can be delivered by our Flying Arts Artist and Facilitator Team anywhere across Queensland.
Flying Arts is a full service organisation. Our fees are fully inclusive of artist/facilitator fees, travel, accommodation, insurances and allowances. Any required materials are charged at cost and will be approximated in your quote. We aim to provide you with the best possible service at the best possible price.
Visual Arts Workshops and Projects
Statewide + Online Available
Offerings can be adapted for:
- Primary School Students
- Middle School Students
- High School Students
- Teacher Professional Development
In most locations, workshops are available on a half day, full day or two day basis. Art residencies and projects are available at three days or longer.
Visual Arts Workshops with Cross-Curriculum Collaboration
Work with a Flying Arts Artist to plan and deliver a custom visual arts workshop that links visual arts with non-arts curriculum subjects such as Maths, Science, English or more. Available as a full day or series of shorter workshops, this process provides an opportunity for educators to work together with artists to create rich curriculum and art experiences in the classroom.

Cross-Curriculum Collaboration with QMF’s Youth Touring Program
Be inspired by the performances on offer and enrich that experience further with a workshop by Flying Arts, tailored to your school’s needs. Cross-Curriculum Collaboration workshops can be held in conjunction with any performance in QMF’s 2017 Youth Touring Program.

Small Schools Program
For schools with 50 or less students in regional and remote Queensland, our free Small Schools Program offers the support of a registered primary teacher/artist to collaborate with your school to plan and deliver a visual arts workshop with cross-curriculum collaboration to create an in-school arts rich curriculum experience for students.
