This webinar explores the best practice standards for professional artists for fees and payment methods. Underscored by the Code of Practice of the National Association of Visual Arts (NAVA), it covers artist fees for exhibitions, workshops, events and lectures, and explains the considerations in determining individual rates across the levels of emerging, mid-career and established artists.

Laura Pike from NAVA also talks about the negotiation and documentation of agreements for professional works, and industry standards for invoicing, insurance, licensing and copyright. With plenty of time for questions and discussion, this webinar is essential viewing for understanding the rights and responsibilities as a professional artist. Laura Pike is the professional development co-ordinator at NAVA, the National Association for the Visual Arts. Laura works with artists throughout Australia to develop key professional skills for artists, through workshops, seminars, and events.
