Learn a range of innovative art-making techniques, incorporating an interdisciplinary STEAM approach. Experiment with design and fabrication using laser-cutting, 3D printing, vacuum forming and coding to create collaborative interactive installations across State Library.
Over three jam-packed days, teachers and educators will take part in an immersive series of experimental and practical workshops designed to provide practical skills in inventive approaches to art-making. Techniques may include (but are not limited to) Arduino programming for light and sound activation, 3D design and printing, mould and object making with vacuum formers, and laser etching and cutting. The program will culminate in a number of site-specific installations throughout the State Library.
Cost: $325 for 3 days*
