Dive into a creative process that is playful, collaborative and hands on! Experiment with laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC routing, vacuum forming and more. This event will culminate in a collaboratively produced public installation at State Library’s family-friendly event, Fun Palace.
Over three jam-packed days, students will take part in an immersive series of experimental and practical workshops shaped to achieve their own creative ideas and outcome. Starting with group concept development, they’ll have the opportunity to learn a variety of techniques to construct a site-specific installation at the State Library. Techniques may include (but are not limited to) Arduino programming for light and sound activation, 3D design and printing, mould and object making with vacuum formers, and laser etching and cutting to achieve final collaborative pieces.
Registrations open soon and will close 11th September.
To register your interest you can email us at scheduled@flyingarts.org.au
