Arts organisations, individuals and regional Queensland local councils are invited to submit a proposal for RAF Renewal strategic project funding.
RAF Renewal grants provide up to $150,000 over three years of funding to support projects that:
- have strong partnerships
- demonstrate long-term outcomes
- illustrate a sustainable future-positioning focus
Flying Arts will accept proposals from 18 September until 23 November, 2020.
Project activities can include partnership projects, community events or programs, First Nations-led renewal and wages for workers (First Nations worker positions will be encouraged). Collaborations across State and Territory borders will be encouraged.
The projects can be process-driven and provide an opportunity to think beyond ‘snap back’ and to consider renewed arts practice and learning processes.
How to Apply
Interested parties are encouraged to contact Nigel Lavender, RAF Lead, on 07 3216 1322 or RAFLead@nullflyingarts.org.au to discuss the project idea before submitting a proposal.
Approved parties will then submit a proposal via SmartyGrants.
Proposals will need to include:
- Identification of possible project partners and target audience
- An outline of your proposed plan
- Program outcomes including community engagement and renewed arts practice
- Topline indicative budget
Submit a Proposal
Short-listed applicants will be invited to make a full application, to be evaluated by an independent panel of assessors in early 2021, with projects commencing by 1 July 2021.
