Additional Information
Charles Robb is Associate Professor of Visual Art at QUT in Meanjin/Brisbane where he leads the first-year Open Studio program. This pioneering art program fosters collaborative methods and explores material-digital experimental approaches in contemporary art practice. As a practicing artist for over three decades, his work has been exhibited at major Australian institutions including MONA (Hobart), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney), and the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia (Melbourne). Charles’ work investigates the relationship between memorial objects and incidental form. He works across sculpture, digital and photographic media, using techniques like mould making, casting, photogrammetry, and assemblage.
