Regional Arts Fund Quick Response Grants

You are here: Home / Regional Arts Fund / Regional Arts Fund Quick Response Grants

What are Quick Response Grants?

Quick Response Grants aim to support small arts or cultural projects that cannot be funded by other means because of their nature or timing. For example, you may wish to attend a workshop or complete a project within a certain time frame and cannot access appropriate funding through any other means.

Please note that Quick Response Grants are competitive, and as part of your application you will need to detail why your project cannot be funded through other means.

This type of grant would also suit individual professional development.

2025 Quick Response Rounds

Quick Response Grants are open 10 times each year during February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November.

The Quick Response Grant outcome and turnaround is within 5 business days and there is minimal time to clarify eligibility with applicants on the closure of the round. Please ensure all details are accurate prior to submission, including matching ABN details to your primary applicant’s address, and your project component start date (2-12 weeks after the grant round closes).

All grants are assessed by independent assessors (industry professionals) external to Flying Arts Alliance core staff and determination to funding is theirs to make. Flying Arts Alliance is happy to facilitate feedback provided by assessors to help applicants with their future applications.

MMM Indicator: Regional Arts Fund funding cannot principally benefit an applicant from a location classified as MM 1. To check if you are from an eligible regional location in Queensland (MM2-7), visit the Health Workforce Locator at www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator
