Our annual art awards are back!
It’s that time of year again! Entries are now open for the Queensland Regional Art Awards 2017.
This year we ask regional and remote Queensland artists to consider the iconic elements within their own communities and regions. Queensland is rich with iconic structures, people, locations, events and lifestyles that shape the state’s identity.
There are eight awards this year, including the $10,000 Flying Arts ‘Art for Life’ Award. This year there is a brand new award category especially for artists located more than 300 kms from an urban centre. The Remote Artist Award offers a fully-funded residency at McGregor Summer School thanks USQ Artsworx.
We can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
Young People – another Artiz program joins our line-up!
Applications for Art Enquirer are now closed, but there are two more programs set to happen this year:
- Artiz Innovative – blend art, science and technology with us at The Edge, State Library of Queensland
- NEW Artiz Public – Make your mark on Toowoomba with this contemporary street art program at the University of Southern Queensland
A limited number of travel subsidies are available thanks to Brian Tucker Accounting. Please give us a call to determine your eligibility.
