Write about Art was a critical visual and media arts writing development program for senior students from state and non-state high schools within Queensland. Selected students had a unique opportunity to work with established industry mentors to hone their writing skills and produce high quality work for publication.
Initial mentoring took place in a (fully funded) one day workshop in Brisbane, followed up over six weeks by online and email communications with mentors. The resulting written works were published in a full-colour anthology by Eyeline Magazine, a leading visual arts journal. Students from regional and remote schools were encouraged to apply.
